Happy Monday!

I am happy to debut the creativity and vision of the girls in the Northside Elementary's ACE Fashion Program, coordinated by yours truly. The after school program is set in place to teach girls in the 1st-4th grade about fashion while still including activities to sharpen their comprehension, reading, writing and mathematical skills.

The girls were given basic white t-shirts and limited supplies to create a new trendy shirt. The supplies consisted of fabric glue, feathers, fabric markers, fabric paint and beaded necklaces. I believe despite the limited supplies, the girls executed the t-shirt designs. I am beyond happy and proud of each design.

On Friday, the girls presented their t-shirts to the entire After School Program. After the presentation, I surprised them with mini photoshoots. Special thanks to Vanessa and Jasmine, for volunteering their modeling skills and time! You guys are appreciated and we enjoyed you both.
